Under the Sea sushi is a small sushi bar in the historical centre of St. Petersburg.
The architects from DA Bureau took a combination of Japanese and Scandinavian minimalism as a visual reference point.
The architects wanted to do a really clean and simple design that would help put the main focus on the food rather than the dรฉcor - so all the walls are simply painted white, all the functional elements are stainless steel, custom-made tables with white tops accentuate the dishes of the place.
If everything was perfect with the interior shooting, then I had to work hard at the post-processing stage. The thing is that the wooden panels cast "warm" reflexes on the whole white space, as a result of which the white walls acquired a warm yellow shade. I had to draw everything by hand. The situation was further complicated by the fact that there was very little time to retouch the photos, as the architects were in a hurry to submit the project to the competition. But as we know, there are no unsolvable problems :)
