This impressive building, built on a former seabed running through an area of great geological importance, is a tribute to the history of the region.
The Buhais Geological Park Centre, designed by Hopkins Architects. The park is located approximately 50 km south-east of Sharjah city in a region of exceptional prehistoric and geological significance. It is home to a wealth of marine fossils discovered over 65 million years ago, spectacular mountain ranges and ancient burials from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages.
Architectural photography in Dubai has a number of peculiarities that you need to consider when planning a photo shoot. By the way, I have written a small brief for designers and architects on how to properly prepare for architectural and interior photography shoot.
But coming back to the peculiarities of architectural photography in Dubai..... The first thing to consider is the weather. In the off season, the temperature outside can reach 50 C degrees. In such heat, the risk of overheating is not only for the photographer, but also for the equipment. Therefore, it is better to plan architectural photography at sunrise and sunset.
The second important point is to get all the necessary permits for photography in advance, otherwise it may turn out that you simply will not be allowed to take pictures if you do not have a permit to take pictures.
Thank you all!
